CHOPPED & SCREWED
It’s been a year since my “controversial “ mural on Reno City Hall was prematurely taken down. It’s been a long road to try and preserve the work that is a part of Reno history , hauling and storing the over 20 sheets of ply this last year has not been easy . I exhibited the work alongside my personal art in January at Sierra Arts Gallery and have attempted to get this work to the community in several ways that have yet to come to fruition. Chopped and Screwed is the pieces from the city hall mural and another from Flint Street Farm cut up and reassembled to make new original works of art.
GONE SOUTH
Inspired by travels to Peru, Mexico and “The Dirty south”. The year 2020 expounded upon the concept of “Gone South” with a strange twist due to the pandemic and racial tensions crippling our nation and world.
